Cathedral City Hot Air Balloon Festival Website Launches for November Event

Cathedral City has launched the official website for its annual Hot Air Balloon Festival, scheduled for Friday, November 21 through Sunday, November 23, 2025. While tickets are not yet available for purchase, residents can sign up for news alerts at cchotairballoonfest.com. The city indicates the website includes new features for this year's festival.

Festival Details

The three-day event will feature balloon tether rides, nighttime balloon glows, live musical entertainment, gourmet food trucks, a children's zone, art show, and outdoor market. Additional activities include romantic dinners, classic car shows, and family entertainment.

Festival Background

The Cathedral City International Hot Air Balloon Festival began in 2015 and is now in its 11th year. The event draws over 25,000 visitors annually to the Coachella Valley.

The festival has received recognition from U.S. News & World Report as one of the Top 14 Hot Air Balloon Festivals and won the Palm Award for Visitor Experience.
