House Speaker Mike Johnson Pushes for Full Release of Epstein Files

Speaking Wednesday in Bossier City, Louisiana, House Speaker Mike Johnson voiced strong support for the release of files related to Jeffrey Epstein and called for the harshest punishments for those involved.

“I want everything to come out about the Epstein evils that is possible to be released because the people that were involved in those unspeakable evil acts should be punished with the greatest severity of the law and it should have happened a long time ago,” Johnson said. “I’m fully in favor of that.”

He added that President Donald Trump shares the same stance, saying, “And by the way, so is the president. He has said the same thing. We’re using every mechanism within our power to do that and to do it as quickly as possible.”

The calls come as lawmakers in both the House and Senate continue to press the Justice Department for transparency in the high-profile case, which has fueled bipartisan demands for additional documents and evidence to be made public.
