Palm Desert Extends City Seal Design Contest Deadline

The City of Palm Desert has extended the deadline for its official city seal redesign contest to August 19, giving graphic design students more time to submit their entries.

The contest is open to currently enrolled graphic design students and recent graduates within two years of completing their program. Participants must be at least 16 years old and located in Southern California.

The winning design will be featured on official city materials and the designer will receive $10,000. The city is seeking a new seal to replace its current official design.

Students can find submission requirements and specifications at palmdesert.gov/CitySeal. The original deadline was moved to accommodate students returning from summer break.
