Indio Launches Annual Paving Project Starting Next Week

The City of Indio is launching its annual paving project starting next week, with roadwork expected to continue through August 22.

Crews will be grinding and repaving sections of key neighborhoods including Palm Meadows, Santa Fe, Country Club Drive, and parts of Central Indio. The work will impact daily traffic, and drivers are advised to expect delays and plan alternate routes where possible.

Specific times and locations for each phase of the project are posted on city notices and were displayed during local broadcasts.

This improvement effort is funded by Measure X, the voter-approved initiative that supports critical infrastructure projects throughout Indio. Officials say the goal is to improve road safety and extend the life of neighborhood streets.
