Little Street Music Hall in Indio to Close with Final Concert August 9
Little Street Music Hall in Indio will host its final performance on Saturday, August 9, marking the end of a two-year chapter in the city’s live music scene.
The farewell event, titled “End of the Road,” will feature multiple local acts and run from 5:30 p.m. until midnight. The venue has been a gathering place for musicians and fans alike, offering a 300-capacity performance space that filled a unique role between small clubs and large casino venues.
Owners say the decision to close comes after they were unable to reach a leasing agreement with the city of Indio, which owns the building. In its short run, Little Street Music Hall gained a reputation for highlighting emerging talent and giving local musicians a professional stage to perform.
Many in the community see its closure as a loss to Indio’s cultural and music scene, removing one of the few mid-sized venues available to local performers.
