Left-Handers Take Center Stage on Jerry Steffen's Holiday Quiz

Wednesday, August 13, 2025 was packed with delicious holidays and brain-busting trivia on NBC Palm Springs' morning show!

Weatherman Jerry Steffen kicked off another fun-filled "Hashtag Holiday Calendar and Pop Quiz" segment, celebrating not one, but four special days. From the luxurious National Filet Mignon Day (that tender cut from the smaller end of the beef tenderloin) to National Prosecco Day (perfect for mimosas!), the morning was off to a tasty start.

But the real spotlight belonged to the lefties! With International Left-Handers Day and World Calligraphy Day (celebrating "beautiful writing" in ancient Greek) on the calendar, Jerry crafted two challenging quiz questions that had the control room scratching their heads.
