The Shops at Palm Desert to Host First Nonprofit Community Fair

The Shops at Palm Desert will host its inaugural nonprofit fair on August 29, connecting residents with local organizations across the Coachella Valley.

The free event runs from 3-6 p.m. at 72840 CA-111, featuring partnerships with the YMCA and Academy of Musical Performance.

Attendees can learn about volunteer and donation opportunities with organizations focused on animal welfare, health, food access, family support, environmental care, and youth services.

The event includes live music from the Academy of Musical Performance (3-5:30 p.m.), a children's craft zone hosted by the YMCA, and a giveaway with prizes including a $300 gift card package.
