Indio Road Repaving Project Continues Through August 22

The city of Indio is continuing a road repaving project that will last until August 22, with crews working in multiple neighborhoods to improve road conditions. Work takes place Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Earlier this week, crews completed repaving in the Palm Meadows neighborhood. Currently, work is underway in the Santa Fe neighborhood, stretching from Monte Sita Drive to Red Bluff Road, with that portion expected to wrap up by Friday.

Next, the project will move to Country Club Drive near Avenue 42 for a one-day paving effort. Finally, from August 19 to August 22, a larger section of central Indio will be repaved, spanning from Miles Avenue to just north of Sadie Avenue.

Motorists are advised to be aware of construction crews, plan alternate routes when possible, and allow extra travel time if passing through the affected areas.
