Palm Springs Begins Sewer Manhole Repairs on Vista Chino and Gene Autry Trail

The City of Palm Springs will start a manhole rehabilitation project along Vista Chino and Gene Autry Trail (Highway 111) on Monday, August 18, with work continuing through August 29.

The project aims to create smoother road surfaces, eliminate rattling manhole covers, and ensure long-term reliability of the city's sewer system. Motorists should expect traffic delays during construction.

Tri-Star Contracting will perform the work on behalf of the city. The project focuses on maintaining critical infrastructure along the Highway 111 corridor.
