Palm Springs Animal Shelter Waives Adoption Fees This Weekend

The Palm Springs Animal Shelter will waive all adoption fees during its Clear the Shelters event Saturday, August 16 (10 AM–5 PM) and Sunday, August 17 (11 AM–5 PM). Community sponsors are covering the costs to encourage pet adoptions. We at NBC Palm Springs and Univision Palm Springs are proud to be partnering with the shelter for the event.

Adopters will receive two tickets to The Living Desert Zoo and Gardens and an adoption pack from Tailwaggers at no additional cost.

Fundraising Pool Party

A fundraising event for the shelter will take place tonight, Friday, August 15 as well at the Palm Springs Surf Club from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM. Proceeds will benefit the animal shelter. The event features DJ Galaxy, a taco bar, and access to the facility's lazy river and pools.
