Target and Ulta Beauty to End In-Store Partnership by August 2026
Target and Ulta Beauty are ending their years-long in-store partnership, which has brought more than 600 Ulta mini beauty shops to Target locations across the country since 2021.
In statements released by both companies, Target said it was proud of the shopping experience they built together, while Ulta called the collaboration one of the ways they brought “the power of beauty” to customers nationwide.
The partnership allowed shoppers to access a curated selection of Ulta Beauty products inside Target stores, along with Target Circle loyalty perks and Ulta’s Ultamate Rewards program. Both retailers have continued to expand their beauty offerings independently, and the decision marks the end of one of the beauty industry’s most notable cross-retail collaborations in recent years.
Customers will still be able to shop at Ulta Beauty’s in-store locations within Target for the next year, as the official end date for the partnership is set for August 2026. Neither company has confirmed what will replace the mini shops after the agreement expires.
