As far as normal high temperatures go, Paul Springs was at its peak average high temperature of 109° for the last 36-days. Today that typical-temp for the city becomes 108°, and -- as far as historical peak numbers go -- it's all a slow downhill slide for the rest of the year.

But -- when looking at our forecast -- the Coachella Valley will be under totally clear skies this afternoon with dew points in the 40s and slightly below-normal high temperatures around 105°.

You can expect sunny skies and higher dews in the middle-50s on Saturday which will play a role in subtracting a few degrees that afternoon.

Next, sunny Sunday with drier air and highs back to around 105°.
