Your SoCal Weather Briefing for Sunday, August 17, 2025!

The Coachella Valley will be under clear skies today with dew points in the 40s with slightly below-normal high temperatures around 105°.

With high temps around 108° on Monday and Tuesday, Valley highs will be running very close to those normal mid-August levels.

Monsoonal moisture will stay well to the East of SoCal through Wednesday, but beginning Thursday -- and especially next weekend -- precipitable water levels move up.

Along with higher humidity at the surface, the Coachella Valley will begin to see occasional clouds on Thursday. As of today, the best shot for a few isolated mountain thunderstorms for our area will be from Thursday into the weekend.
