Hotter Days Ahead for the Coachella Valley with Humidity and Rain Chances
Happy Monday, Coachella Valley! After a refreshing weekend with slightly below-average temperatures, things are about to heat back up across the desert. Today’s high is right around seasonal, sitting about 10 degrees below last week’s record-breaking stretch. But as we move deeper into the week, conditions will shift once again.
Meteorologists are tracking a high-pressure system currently strengthening to our east. As it moves west, it will bring a return of hotter weather, along with mid-level moisture. That means not only rising temperatures but also higher humidity levels, a bit of cloud cover, and even the potential for rain later this week.
Rain chances look most likely for the San Bernardino Mountains and portions of the High Desert by Friday, while the Coachella Valley itself may stay mostly dry. Still, the added humidity could make it feel warmer than the actual temperatures.
Looking at the Comfort Air 7-Day Forecast, highs are expected to climb as the week goes on, before a gradual cooldown begins early next week—dropping back toward 105 degrees by next Monday.
So, enjoy today’s seasonal weather while it lasts. The summer heat isn’t done with us yet, but relief is on the horizon once again.
