Local Winery Offers Scholarships on National Pinot Noir Day
As wine enthusiasts celebrate National Pinot Noir Day on Monday, a local Coachella Valley winery is marking the occasion by supporting the next generation of winemakers through educational scholarships.
Masvino Wines, a locally owned and distributed winery, has established a scholarship program to help students pursue higher education in winemaking. The initiative reflects the company's commitment to developing future talent in the wine industry.
"We're looking out for the next generation of winemakers," said Rachel, a representative from Masvino Wines. "We do that by helping students pursue a higher education in winemaking."
National Pinot Noir Day, observed annually on August 18, celebrates one of the world's most popular wine varietals. Pinot Noir grapes produce wines typically characterized as light to medium-bodied with fruit-forward flavors.
