Coachella Animal Network Hosts Free Adoption Event and Low-Cost Pet Clinic

The Coachella Animal Network will hold a combined pet adoption event and affordable veterinary clinic on Wednesday, August 20, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Fantasy Springs Event Center in Indio.

The event offers multiple services for pet owners and prospective adopters. A walk-in clinic will provide pet licenses, vaccinations, and microchipping services without requiring appointments. Vaccination costs range from $8 to $25 depending on the type, while microchipping costs $18 for both cats and dogs.

Pet licensing will be available for those who bring cash or credit card, identification, current rabies vaccination records, pet sterilization documentation, and microchip information.

Dogs and cats available for adoption will be featured at the event, with all adoption fees waived during the clinic hours.

A separate spay and neuter clinic specifically for cats requires advance appointments, which can be scheduled online at coachellaanimalnetwork.org. Limited standby appointments will be available starting at 7:30 a.m. on the day of the event for $30. Cat owners must withhold food after 11 p.m. the night before the procedure.
