Martha's Village & Kitchen Announces Halloween-Themed Fundraising Race

Martha's Village & Kitchen will host its inaugural "Spook-tacular" 5K and 10K race on October 11th at Ruth Hardy Park in Palm Springs. The Halloween-themed event will feature a costume contest with prizes and treats for participants.

The race represents a new addition to the organization's fundraising calendar, which already includes the annual Turkey Trot 5K scheduled for November 27th on El Paseo. The Turkey Trot will mark its 19th year this Thanksgiving.

Both events raise funds for Martha's Village & Kitchen's programs that assist families in need throughout the Coachella Valley. The organization offers services including meals, housing assistance, and support programs for local residents experiencing hardship.

Participants can register for one or both races, with discounts available for those signing up for multiple events. The race welcomes runners and walkers of all ages and fitness levels.
