Animal Welfare Presentation Concludes Chamber Speaker Series

Greater Palm Springs Animal Allies will present the final session of the Rancho Mirage Chamber of Commerce's 2025 Signature Speaker Series Wednesday at Mission Hills Country Club.

The presentation, titled "Voices for the Voiceless: Protecting Animals and Wildlife in the Coachella Valley," begins at 12:00 PM following check-in at 11:30 AM.

Four local animal welfare leaders will address rescue operations, rehabilitation efforts, advocacy work, and future animal protection initiatives in the region:

• Dan Rossi, Executive Director of Greater Palm Springs Animal Allies

• Jack Hagerman, Associate Executive Director of Palm Springs Animal Allies

• Shianne May, Clinic Manager at Desert Community Animal Center

• Mikah Curtis, Director of Desert Wildlife Center

The speakers will discuss the organization's comprehensive approach to animal welfare, which includes adoption services at the Palm Springs Animal Shelter, wildlife rescue through the Desert Wildlife Center, and veterinary care at the Desert Community Animal Center.

The luncheon presentation runs until 1:30 PM at Mission Hills Country Club in Rancho Mirage.
