Cracker Barrel Updates Logo Design After Nearly 50 Years

Cracker Barrel Old Country Store has redesigned its corporate logo for the first time since 1977, replacing the longtime image of a man resting beside a barrel with a text-only design.

The restaurant chain unveiled the updated logo this week, featuring the company name in a modernized typeface while retaining the brand's signature gold and brown color scheme. The previous logo had been in use for 47 years since the Tennessee-based company adopted it in 1977.

The logo change represents the most significant visual update to the country-themed restaurant chain's branding in decades. Cracker Barrel operates more than 660 locations across 45 states, primarily along interstate highways.

As part of the rebranding effort, the company has also launched new advertising featuring country music artist Jordan Davis. To mark the logo introduction, Cracker Barrel is offering customers a complimentary side dish with any purchase on August 23 and 24.
