Palm Springs Aerial Tramway Extends Free First Responder Program Through September 7
The Palm Springs Aerial Tramway has extended its complimentary admission program for first responders through September 7, moving the deadline from the original August 31 expiration date.
The extension comes after technical issues forced an unexpected one-week closure of the tramway earlier this month, preventing eligible participants from taking advantage of the program during that period.
The initiative provides free tram rides to active members of first responder agencies, including police and fire departments, as well as support staff. Participants must present valid photo identification to qualify for admission.
Originally launched as "First Responders Days 2025," the program recognizes the service of emergency personnel in the community. A complete list of qualifying personnel and agencies is available on the tramway's website.
