Palm Springs Fertility Clinic Announces First Successful Pregnancy Since Bombing
The American Reproductive Center in Palm Springs, which was the target of a bombing earlier this year, has announced its first successful pregnancy since reopening.
The clinic, located on North Indian Canyon Drive, was bombed on May 17. In the weeks following, the center quickly relocated to a new facility on the same street and resumed operations. On social media Tuesday, the group confirmed that both their IVF and andrology labs are now fully operational.
Since reopening, the clinic has completed five embryo thaws and transfers. One of those procedures has already resulted in a successful pregnancy, while the outcomes of four others are still pending.
In a statement, the American Reproductive Center expressed gratitude to its patients and staff for their trust and resilience during the transition. “We are incredibly proud of the outstanding quality of care we continue to provide and so grateful for the trust of our patients during this transition. Thank you for your continued love and support as we rebuild stronger than ever.”
The Palm Springs community continues to follow the center’s progress closely as it rebuilds after the attack. No loss of life was reported in the May bombing, but the incident left a significant impact on the clinic and its patients.
