An NBC Palm Springs Weather Heads-Up!

Yesterday, Valley highs were in the 80s. Today, we will again be under sunny skies, but with very low relative humidity and much warmer midday temps in the upper-90s. You can expect more of the same for Friday.

While a very weak disturbance to our North will provide occasionally strong on-shore breezes along with fair-weather upper-level high clouds on Saturday, Valley highs will still warm into the middle-90s.

My focus is on next week's forecast when that upper-level ridge of high pressure parks itself directly over Southern California which will play a major role in elevating Valley temps past the century mark all of next week.

An Excessive Heat Warning is likely. Stay tuned!
