An NBC Palm Springs Weather Heads-Up for Tuesday, August 26, 2025!
With lots of monsoonal moisture still in place, showers and thunderstorms are likely again this afternoon. After mountain storms develop over the San Jacinto and Santa Rosa Mountains, steering currents will push a few showers to the Northeast over the Coachella Valley.
The Valley will be dealing with very high humidity today as dew points hover around 70°, closer to 60° on Wednesday.
By Thursday, the remnants of Tropical Storm Juliette -- currently located hundreds of miles Southwest of Cabo -- will become a remnant Low, but will be close enough to provide lots of clouds over the Southland. A few SoCal showers are possible.
We'll see mostly clear skies this weekend with drier air and near normal high temperatures around 108° both afternoons.
