The congressional inquiry seeks details about Wikipedia's methods to "identify and stop malicious conduct online that injects bias and undermines neutral points of view" on its platform. Wikipedia operates under a policy of maintaining a neutral point of view in its articles, relying on volunteer editors worldwide to maintain content standards.

The Wikimedia Foundation confirmed it is reviewing the congressional committee's request but has not provided additional details about its response.
