Pet of the Week: Nori and Shelter Friends

Jack Hagerman, Associate Executive Director of the Palm Springs Animal Shelter, visited NBC Palm Springs this week with Nori, an adorable 4-month-old pug-Boston terrier mix puppy. Nori is one of seven puppies from the same litter who are scheduled for spay/neuter surgeries and will be available for adoption by the weekend.

Hagerman also showcased several other animals currently seeking homes:

• Deku - A sweet 2-year-old mixed breed who has been at the shelter since October. He's affectionate, loves to cuddle, and is eager to learn new commands.

• Dirk - A happy 4-year-old mixed breed who loves learning and is great with people, other dogs, and walks well on a leash.

• Maggie - A 4-year-old terrier mix who is initially shy but warms up quickly.
