Donald Trump Spotted at Virginia Golf Club Over Labor Day Weekend

President Donald Trump spent his Labor Day weekend at Trump National Golf Club in Virginia, returning multiple times for rounds of golf while fueling discussion about his public schedule and health.

On Saturday, pool reporters spotted Trump wearing a white polo, black pants, and his trademark red “Make America Great Again” hat as he headed to the course, accompanied by his grandchildren Kai Trump and Spencer Trump. He returned again Sunday and Monday, sharing an undated photo of himself in a golf cart during a match with former NFL coach and Barstool Sports personality Jon Gruden.

The weekend outings followed three unusually quiet weekdays in late August when Trump’s public schedule went blank. White House officials said the president was engaged in internal staff and policy meetings, and also sat for an hourlong interview with the conservative outlet Daily Caller.

Trump pushed back on speculation about his health with a post on Truth Social declaring, “NEVER FELT BETTER IN MY LIFE.” His physician, Dr. Sean Barbabella, recently dismissed concerns about bruising on Trump’s hand, describing it as minor irritation from frequent handshaking and aspirin use. In July, the White House confirmed Trump had been diagnosed with chronic venous insufficiency but emphasized he remains in excellent health.

At 79, Trump is set to become the oldest president in U.S. history by the end of his term. His regular golf outings have become a fixture of his presidency, with 17 visits to his Northern Virginia course since Memorial Day, along with several weekends at his Bedminster, New Jersey, property and even a trip to Scotland earlier this summer.
