Cathedral City Senior Center Hosts Food Drive for National Food Bank Day

CATHEDRAL CITY, Calif. — The Cathedral City Senior Center is inviting the community to take part in a special food drive this Friday in recognition of National Food Bank Day.

The event will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Senior Center, where staff and volunteers will be on hand to accept donations. Organizers say the items most needed include pasta, pasta sauce, cereal, soup, and canned vegetables.

Every contribution collected will go directly toward providing meals for people in the community who are struggling with food insecurity.

In addition to dropping off donations in person, supporters can also contribute online by clicking here.
