Woman Known as "Ketamine Queen" Pleads Guilty in Matthew Perry Overdose Death

Jasveen Sangha, a Los Angeles woman dubbed the "Ketamine Queen," pleaded guilty Wednesday to five federal counts including distribution of ketamine in connection with the fatal overdose of "Friends" actor Matthew Perry.

Sangha faces a maximum prison sentence of 65 years when she is sentenced in December. The plea marks a significant development in the case surrounding Perry's death, which sent shockwaves through Hollywood and raised questions about illegal ketamine distribution networks.

Perry, 54, was found face down in the heated section of his pool at his Los Angeles home in October 2023. The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner's Office later determined his death was caused by an accidental overdose of ketamine.
