Dish Detective Contest: Guess the Restaurant and Win a $100 Gift Card

Dish Detective is back for another round of delicious detective work in the Coachella Valley. NBC Palm Springs has once again teamed up with Dining with the Davids to give viewers a chance to win a $100 gift card to a featured local restaurant.

The contest is simple: watch the Dish Detective video, pay close attention to the culinary clues, and tag the restaurant you think it is on Instagram. If you guess correctly and follow both NBC Palm Springs and Dining with the Davids, you’ll be entered into the drawing for a $100 gift card to the mystery restaurant.

This week’s clues include three standout dishes:

• Mini grilled cheese dumplings in a spicy tomato bisque topped with bacon and chives.
• Hokkaido scallops seared over wild mushroom risotto with chicken dashi and a soy-cured egg yolk.
• A tres leches cake soaked in chestnut liqueur, layered with dulce de leche, and finished with powdered chocolate.

Viewers have until Thursday at noon to submit their guesses. The winner and the correct restaurant will be revealed Friday morning during the NBC Palm Springs newscast.

Last week’s answer was Foxy’s Kitchen and Bar, which brought its own unique flavor to the challenge.
