Indio Memorial Groundbreaking

``This year's ceremony is made even more meaningful as we break ground on Indio's 9/11 Memorial, a place where our community can come together to remember, to learn and to honor the bravery of those who served and sacrificed. We hope it will inspire future generations to carry forward the values of resilience and solidarity,'' Mayor Glen Miller said in a statement.
La Quinta Candlelight Vigil
La Quinta will conclude the day's commemorations with a candlelight vigil at 7 p.m. at the Civic Center Campus, providing an opportunity for community members to gather in remembrance of the lives lost and heroes who served.
