Palm Springs Women’s Jazz Festival Returns Sept. 18 with “Blues at Woodstock” Theme

Music lovers are getting ready for the return of the Palm Springs Women’s Jazz Festival, set for Sept. 18 through Sept. 21 at Hotel Zoso on Indian Canyon Drive.

This year’s theme, Blues at Woodstock, will pay tribute to the legendary 1969 music festival with a powerhouse lineup of women in jazz, blues, and soul. Featured performers include Ruthie Foster, Martha Redbone, Beth Smith, and several others.

Organizers say the four-day event will spotlight women musicians whose work continues to push the boundaries of jazz while honoring the roots of blues and folk traditions that defined Woodstock.

The festival will include evening concerts, special performances, and opportunities to experience the diverse artistry of women in music.
