Morongo Band of Mission Indians Donates $100K to Support Low-Cost Spay and Neuter Clinics

The Morongo Band of Mission Indians has announced a $100,000 donation to the nonprofit Animal Action League, an organization based in Joshua Tree that provides affordable veterinary care.

The initiative will expand low-cost spay and neuter clinics throughout the Coachella Valley and Banning, aiming to reduce pet overpopulation and improve animal health.

In addition to the donation, Morongo partnered with Animal Action League to host two free spay and neuter clinics at the Morongo Community Center, providing vital services to pet owners who might not otherwise be able to afford them.

Tribal leaders said the contribution reflects Morongo’s mission to strengthen the quality of life in communities across Riverside and San Bernardino counties.
