30th Valleywide Employment Expo Connects Job Seekers and Employers in Coachella Valley

Riverside County hosted its 30th Valleywide Employment Expo today at Fantasy Springs, marking three decades of connecting job seekers with employers across the Coachella Valley.

The event brought together dozens of businesses and organizations, including the Desert Recreation District, Martha’s Village and Kitchen, Indio Police Department, and the Living Desert Zoo and Gardens. From public service to nonprofit work and tourism, a wide range of industries were represented, offering attendees the chance to explore diverse career paths.

For job seekers, the expo was more than just a place to drop off resumes. It provided a valuable networking opportunity, where candidates could make personal connections with employers and learn more about what organizations are looking for in their next hires. Employers, in turn, had the chance to meet potential candidates face-to-face and identify talent that could fill critical roles in the months ahead.

Organizers emphasized the importance of follow-up after the event, encouraging attendees to stay in touch with employers even if they didn’t secure a job immediately. “That opportunity may be there a month or two down the line,” one recruiter noted, highlighting that persistence and communication can often make the difference.

As the Coachella Valley continues to grow, the Valleywide Employment Expo remains a cornerstone for connecting the region’s workforce with meaningful career opportunities—proving that after 30 years, its mission is as vital as ever.
