Crypto Fitz Brings Bitcoin Talk to Coachella Valley Community

Aside from his regular updates and definitions on NBC Palm Springs, Jimi Fitz—better known as Crypto Fitz—has been taking his expertise out into the community. His latest stop brought him to a small gathering just off Cook Street, where about 25 people filled the room to learn more about Bitcoin and the broader crypto world.

The audience included builders, painters, drywall hangers, tile layers, and other hardworking men and women of the Coachella Valley. Many expressed concerns about protecting their savings amid inflation and ongoing money-printing policies. Fitz said he was pleasantly surprised by the group’s knowledge and engagement.

“They knew so much, and they were so engaged, asking me great questions,” Fitz shared. “We had a blast, and at the end they were already asking when we could do more of these. Some even mentioned friends who couldn’t make it but wanted to join next time.”
