An NBC Palm Springs Weather Heads-Up for Friday, September 18, 2025!

A Flood Watch remains in effect for a large area of the Southwest -- including the Coachella Valley -- through this evening. Additional rain with mountain runoff may lead to street flooding.

The Valley can expect mostly cloudy skies today with showers and mountain thunderstorms through this evening.

While skies will begin to thin on Friday, surface moisture will remain humid while high temperatures once again peak in the 90s.

The Valley will see sunny skies on Saturday afternoon when high temps hover around 100°.
