Crypto Fitz: Advice for getting started with Bitcoin

I’m Jimi Fitz, also known as Crypto Fitz, and one of my favorite things to do is get out into the community and answer real questions about Bitcoin and crypto.

In this edition, we connected with Fernando from The Home Collection — a name known to many here in the desert. Fernando asked what advice can be given to those who have nothing invested in crypto, especially later in life.

“As a friend of mine says, get off of zero,” Fitz explained. “Get some Bitcoin. Start.”

He recommends beginning with Coinbase, the only publicly traded crypto exchange on the NASDAQ. Coinbase offers tutorials and even pays users in Bitcoin for completing short online courses.

“Go to Coinbase.com, peruse the site, read what they’ve got,” Fitz said. “Then, when you’re comfortable, open an account. But first, go to Coinbase.com and do some research.”
