Patsi’s Fundraising Push Nears Goal for Boys and Girls Club Van in Cathedral City

The Boys and Girls Club of Cathedral City is close to reaching its fundraising goal for a new van, thanks to the ongoing efforts of local drag personality Patsi and her Dinner with Patsi events.

“We’re this close to being able to purchase the new vehicle to be able to go pick up more kids at new schools, especially Nellie Kaufman Middle School, which we’ve never been able to pick up before,” Patsi explained. “And we’ve got just a couple of logo spots left to sell thanks to Patsi’s Promise through Dinner with Patsi, through Patsi and Ethylina’s staycation bingo, you know, and the opportunities of all the wonderful donors. We’re two away from making this happen.”

The campaign has included multiple fundraisers, from community bingo nights to the monthly Dinner with Patsi series. The goal is to expand transportation options for children who rely on the club’s after-school programs.

Those who want to help can still contribute directly through the Boys and Girls Club of Cathedral City. Another fundraiser is planned next Saturday at Luchador Brewing Company in Cathedral City, keeping the momentum alive for this important cause.
