LPGA Qualifying Tournament Returns to Indian Wells

The Epson Tour Championship will return to Indian Wells October 2-5, marking the culmination of professional women's golf's primary pathway to the LPGA Tour.

The tournament serves as the final event of the Epson Tour, the LPGA's official qualifying circuit, where 108 golfers will compete for $250,000 in prize money and the opportunity to earn their 2026 LPGA Tour cards.

Indian Wells will continue as the tournament's presenting sponsor for this year's championship. The event represents the final opportunity for players to secure their professional status on the LPGA Tour through the qualifying system.

The tournament format places significant pressure on competitors, as tour card distribution depends on season-long performance culminating in this single event. Players who earn LPGA Tour status will join golf's premier women's professional circuit beginning in 2026.
