Palm Desert's Johnny Brande meets Los Angeles Chargers offensive lineman Joe Alt.

Palm Desert's Johnny Brande was receiving treatment at UCLA Hospital Pediatric Infusion Unit for Ewing's sarcoma when the Los Angeles Chargers lineman Joe Alt walked in to surprise him. Brande was playing Madden with his brother, Jake Brande, the two-sport athlete at Palm Desert High School. Last week, Brande and his family were guests of the Los Angeles Dodgers where Brande threw out the first pitch before the game between the Dodgers and the Philadelphia Phillies.
