LA Man Killed in Fatal Rollover Crash on the I-10

Fatal Rollover Crash on the I-10 Causes Tuesday Morning

A 48-year-old man is reported dead after a rollover crash on the I-10 near Cook St. this morning.

The California Highway Patrol Incident Report page has the accident as having happened at 7:58 a.m. According to the report, one vehicle is on its roof.

We reached out to the Indio station, where an official confirmed that a single vehicle, a red Ford Explorer, was traveling West on the I-10 when it drove off the roadway and rolled over on the right shoulder. At this time, there was only believed to be one person in the vehicle, a man identified as Christopher Murphy of Los Angeles, who died at the scene, as confirmed by the Coroner's Office.

Although the Riverside County Sheriff's Coroner's Office has not fully identified the man, CHP says he is a 48 year-old from Los Angeles.

We are in contact with the California Highway Patrol, who are working to gather more information at this time.
