All Suspects Arrested in Palm Desert Don Roberto Jewelers Robbery Spree
Public safety officials confirm that all suspects linked to a violent smash-and-grab robbery at Don Roberto Jewelers in Palm Desert are now behind bars.
The final suspect, identified as George Diamond, was taken into custody Tuesday in Lancaster. His arrest follows the capture of five others throughout September, bringing the total number of suspects to six.
Investigators say the group is connected not only to the Palm Desert robbery in August but also to at least 11 additional smash-and-grab style thefts targeting Don Roberto Jewelers locations across Los Angeles, Orange, and Riverside counties.
The arrests bring relief to communities shaken by the string of brazen jewelry store heists. All six suspects have been booked into the John Benoit Detention Center on multiple charges, including robbery, vandalism, grand theft, burglary, prior convicted theft, and conspiracy.
Authorities say the coordinated law enforcement effort demonstrates a strong commitment to holding those responsible accountable and restoring peace of mind for local residents and businesses.
