Joshua Tree National Park Ranked Second-Best Wedding Destination in U.S.
Joshua Tree National Park is earning national recognition as one of the top places in the country to say “I do.”
A recent ranking placed Joshua Tree as the second-best U.S. national park for weddings, citing its unmatched desert landscape, vibrant sunsets, and near-perfect weather. The park averages less than one rainy day per month, making it an ideal backdrop for couples looking for a memorable ceremony.
While Joshua Tree took second place, the top spot went to Yellowstone National Park, which drew attention for its sweeping mountain views and iconic natural wonders.
For those planning a visit, there’s even more good news. On September 27, in honor of National Public Lands Day, entrance to Joshua Tree National Park will be free. Visitors can take in the unique desert beauty, explore the trails, or even scope out a wedding location without paying the usual entrance fee.
Park officials noted that while a little rain can occasionally fall in the desert, most days are warm, dry, and filled with sunshine — conditions that continue to make Joshua Tree one of the most picturesque parks in the nation.
