Palm Springs Surf Club Holds E.A.S.T. Fest This Sunday

The Palm Springs Surf Club will host E.A.S.T. Fest on Sunday, September 28, from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m., bringing together professional surfers, surfboard craftsmen, and the public for a day of experimental wave-riding.

The event, organized by Stab and Kona Big Wave, allows participants to test more than 100 experimental surfboards designed by renowned shapers from around the world. Eighty members of the public can surf alongside professional surfers including Mikey February, Mason Ho, Nathan Fletcher, and Harry Bryant.

The festival features surfboard designers such as Ryan Lovelace, Donald Brink, and members of the Campbell Bros, who will be available to discuss their craft and design theories with attendees. The event will include the first screening of Stab's new E.A.S.T. film series.

Entertainment includes poolside DJs during the day and live music performances by Allah-Las, RIO KOSTA, and other acts throughout the evening. Attendees have full access to Palm Springs Surf Club facilities, including water slides, lazy river, pools, restaurants, and bars.

General admission costs $40 for adults and $20 for children ages 3-12. Surf session participation costs $250. The event is located at 1500 S Gene Autry Trail in Palm Springs.

The festival is inspired by Stab's film series that documents professional surfers testing alternative surfboard designs to explore different wave-riding sensations.
