The Dinah returns to Palm Springs with world’s largest queer women’s festival

The Dinah has returned to Palm Springs, celebrating what organizers call the world’s largest lesbian and queer women’s festival. Each year, the multi-day event transforms Palm Springs into a hub of music, parties, and entertainment, drawing thousands of attendees from across the globe.

According to the festival’s website, more than 15,000 people are expected throughout the weekend. The festivities include high-energy pool parties, live performances, and exclusive events designed to celebrate and connect queer women and their allies.

Often referred to as Dinah Shore Weekend, the festival has become a landmark celebration in the Coachella Valley, both for its entertainment value and for the sense of community it builds. Locals and visitors alike say the event is more than a party—it’s an annual tradition that highlights Palm Springs as a welcoming destination for the LGBTQ+ community.

The celebration continues through the weekend with major headliners, DJs, and themed gatherings spread across Palm Springs.
