Palm Springs’ Revolution Stage Company Launches Third Season With Packed Lineup
The Palm Springs Revolution Stage Company is set to open its doors for a third season this Thursday, welcoming theater fans back with an exciting schedule of performances.
Founder Gary Powers says the season will once again kick off with the popular Cabaret Riot contest, starting October 6. Returning playwright Tim Mulligan, who debuted “Witchland” with the company during its first season before taking it Off-Broadway, will present “Point Loma.” The play, which recently wrapped a successful Off-Broadway run, opens Thursday, October 2, for a limited six-performance engagement.
The season lineup also features the musical “Evil Dead,” plus a special performance from Paul Crane, last season’s Cabaret Riot winner, who takes the stage October 17 with his own show. Looking ahead to November, the company will stage the beloved musical “Rent.”
With such a diverse schedule of plays, musicals, and cabaret events, Powers says the company is proud to continue growing as a cultural hub in Palm Springs. Tickets and the full season calendar are available at revolutionstagecompany.com.
