Colorado Driver Arrested After Following Woman Home in Road Rage Incident

A Broomfield man has been arrested after police say he followed a woman to her home in a road rage incident.

The confrontation happened Friday near Zuni Street and 144th Avenue. According to police, a 28-year-old woman reported that after she inadvertently cut off a truck in traffic, the driver — identified only as a 62-year-old man — pursued her to her residence.

When she parked, investigators say the suspect positioned his vehicle in a way that blocked hers in the driveway. Police added that the man admitted to following her. He left the scene a short time later but was observed circling the neighborhood before being taken into custody.

The driver was booked into the Broomfield Detention Center on a harassment charge.

Police issued a reminder to drivers that if they become victims of road rage, they should remain calm, avoid engagement, and contact authorities immediately.
