Aloe Palm Canyon Apartments Open in Palm Springs

A new affordable housing complex for seniors opened in Palm Springs this week at 1479 N. Palm Canyon Drive.

The Aloe Palm Canyon Apartments feature 71 units, with 69 designated as affordable housing for residents 55 and older earning between 0% and 80% of the Area Median Income. Twenty-five of the units are reserved as Permanent Supportive Housing with on-site services designed to help residents maintain stability and independence.

According to Lift to Rise, a local nonprofit community housing organization, 25 residents who moved into the complex were previously unhoused.

The development adds to Palm Springs' inventory of senior housing options for low-income residents.
