Palm Springs High School Homecoming Parade Set for Wednesday

Palm Springs High School's homecoming parade will take place Wednesday, October 15, at 3:30 p.m. along Palm Canyon Drive from Baristo to Alejo. Motorists should expect traffic disruptions along the parade route.

This year's grand marshal is Hannah Maria Duran-Wright, a Palm Springs High School alumna and winner of Love Island Season 5. Duran-Wright is the daughter of former principal Ricky Wright. The parade will feature an "Old Hollywood" theme and include the Spirit of the Sands Marching Band, City Council members, and PSUSD Board representatives.

The homecoming celebration continues Friday, October 17, when the Palm Springs High School football team faces Xavier Prep at Ralph Watt Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m., with pregame activities beginning at 6 p.m. The evening will include a tribute to former principal Ricky Wright and the crowning of the 2025 Homecoming Queen.
