San Bernardino School Bus Driver Arrested After Allegedly Threatening Tow Yard Worker

Police in San Bernardino arrested a school bus driver Tuesday after he allegedly threatened a tow yard worker with a gun.

Authorities say the man drove into the tow yard in a school bus towing a trailer to pick up one of his vehicles. According to the San Bernardino Police Department, he became angry during the exchange and pointed a handgun at one of the employees.

Officers who were nearby quickly responded to the scene and detained the suspect. Investigators say they found both a rifle and a crossbow on the trailer he had brought with him.

The man was booked for attempted assault with a deadly weapon. Police clarified that he is not employed by the local school district and operates as a private bus driver.
