Desert Hot Springs Launches Desert Nights on the BLVD
Desert Hot Springs has launched Desert Nights on the BLVD, a bi-monthly concert series designed to bring the community together on Pierson Boulevard. The free events replace the city's previous Friday Nights on Pierson program.
The series alternates between live concerts featuring tribute bands and DJ nights, scheduled for every other weekend. Events include local food vendors, a beer garden for those 21 and older, and local artisan vendors.
The inaugural concert takes place this Saturday, October 25, from 6-10 p.m., featuring tribute band Nightmare on 80s Street and DJ Anwaar. Subsequent concerts are scheduled through September 2026, with performances including tributes to Taylor Swift (November 22), Madonna (January 31), and the Red Hot Chili Peppers (April 25).
Concert times vary between 4-8 p.m. and 6-10 p.m., depending on the event. City officials say the series aims to establish Pierson Boulevard as a community gathering space and highlight Desert Hot Springs' arts and culture scene.
Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets. All events are family-friendly and open to the public at no cost.
